Sokka's sarcasm and Aang narrating ''I'm gonna save the world... with my friends'' leads me to believe that since translating cartoon slapstick humor to live action is near impossible, they are gonna lean more into deadpan humor/sarcasm to retain the original feeling PLUS power of friendship vibes to pull at our heart strings.

Holy shit the casting, the makeup, the fight scenes, even the effects! They even got Zuko right!
And several of the voices sound good too! That's a pretty good Sokka impression!!!

The fact that it didn't take 20 minutes of Zumba to gently float a garden rock across a clearing, and the fact that they actually know how to pronounce the main character's name both make me immensely excited for this.

That and apparently the original creators/writers are the ones making this so....

This was by far my favorite show ever when I was young!! The casting looks incredible, vfx looks awesome as well, and the fact that they’re clearly gonna show EVERYTHING that’s in the cartoon series is awesome! This makes me very excited to see all of the spirits 😄
