I received one of these for free when I bought a Surefire titan, it's a great flashlight for how cheap it is.

I got one of these in purple, they come in a ton of colors and brass. I like it a lot, I keep it at my computer desk and it's great to put in my mouth and do hands-free and work on stuff. I have my Olight s2r three feet away from it but always go to this one for hands-free. I got my dad one as well I liked it so much and he says he uses it at night to see his way to his bathroom. He's off the grid on a mountain top in Malibu, where night is night, very dark. I highly recommend these lights!

Thrunite T01 is a good little key chain light
as well, I have a few of them as well as the Ti3 I use them in my survival kits that I keep in my pack outs, I use a mini headlamp by Woods in my med kits I just think hands free lighting is the way to go. Thanks for another cool review Aaron

get every color! these and the thrunite t-01 are my favorite keychain lights because theyre cheap, small, simple twist for on/off, 1 mode, and bright.

im a flashlight nerd so i bought the efest 10440 flat top rechargeable batteries from going gear and its not safe or recommended to use these for very long but it jumps the brightness up to 300ish lumens. keep usage to a minute or less than 5min for sure. it gets very hot and ive ruined a few .

great for short bursts or walking from the car to the house

Ive carried mine for a good while and love it. I recommended it in your 2017 edc video when you were undecided about your keychain flashlight at that time.

Don't use alkaline if you value your light. The battery that came with mine leaked less than a month after purchase nearly ruining my light.
I'll be going with quality rechargeables from now on.

For single AAA I prefer the Olight i3S EOS. I need the 3 modes for typical up-close EDC keychain tasks, 90 lumens is to bright when I'm working on something or looking in my car center console at night and better battery life with using low med and high mode. The i3S is only a few mm longer in size and like 4$ more than the i3E EOS. I just got the DQG Tiny AA which is worlds smallest AA. Thats my new pocket carry. Its the same length as the I3S and only a little fatter to accommodate the AA. Its 230lm for 1 hour! And it has a really usable 40lm mode and 2.5lm mode with great battery life due to the larger AA cell. Certainly my favorite EDC flashlight to date!

Hope the quality and warranty is better than the nitecore tube flashlights. that company doesn't honor there warrentys at all. I'm gonna try these. good review of the flashlight. Thank you.

The Rofis ER3A is another good option. Single AAA battery, 120 lumens, and about $10.

Chose this over the NiteCore Tube T Series 45 Lumen. AAA more convenient and stable. Amazing how handy these are.

I like these, but I had a limited edition one on my keychain that unfortunately, my light unscrewed itself because I had it backed off far enough that it wouldn’t turn itself on, and I lost the head on that one. Very sad.

What brand of lithium batteries do you use? Are they rechargeable?

Lumintop tool is the way to go or the microstream

I'd go for the higher lumens. I don't expect a single aaa battery to last too long, but when it is on I want daylight coming out.

4:30 The 90lm one looks brighter. Are the pictures swapped?

Thanks for the review. Looks like It's time to do some shopping.

Question, can these lights run on rechargeable batteries in addition to the lithium/alkaline batteries?

This Olight is ok, but it has only one mode. Lumintop Worm is about the same size but it has three modes (5, 30 and 110 lumens) plus a great pocket clip!
