Local blood supply reaches critical levels, South Texas Blood and Tissue Center says

The South Texas Blood and Tissue Center said it has reached a critical supply level for all blood types. Roger Ruiz, with the STBTC, said the recent drop in donations is due to the summer break. High school and college blood drives are major contributors to the blood supply. If you would like to help, there are opportunities over the weekend.
