I miss messenger for web, quick launch camera, and default apps, other than that everything has been easy for me... then again I was the only android fanboy in my life circle of friends and family...

I'm 100% Android all the way but everyone else in my house are Apple users.
I recently bought my wife a new Apple iPhone11Pro Max 256GB. After Apple care it was $1500.
Honestly the phone is amazing. The pictures it takes are just so beautiful and it pretty much never takes a bad picture. My wife loves that she can go 2 days without charging it and when she needs to charge it 30 minutes and she is good to go.
The hardware is top notch but Apples dictatorship approach to software is where I lose interest.

There’s a Siri Shortcut for Google Assistant. It requires your phone to be unlocked if you have a password though. Apple needs to have some kind of trusted devices/networks feature similar to Android.

Finally someone who gets it. I just want my phone to be a phone, too.i love the pro max. The battery is most important to me. The new camera is just icing on the cake. Coming from a 6S makes me truly appreciate the upgrade. 😁😎

Perfect review, I got the iPhone 11 Pro Max after leaving iOS for 10 years. My last phone was the pixel 2. Android is a better experience but iOS isn’t bad anymore they fixed a lot. File system, notifications, and default apps need a fix though. However I think imma stay on the iPhone. iMessage is big since most of my friends and family have iPhones. I feel like I talk to them a lot more. We play iMessage games. I have a MacBook Pro and the iPhone works so well with it from handing off calls to airdrop. Also, the apps get better support on iOS. The iPhone 11 Pro is amazing hardware and the battery life is insane. I’m probably gonna keep an iPhone.

Super good review! I’m one of the few who really likes the Pixel 4 XL and use it as my daily phone. But when I travel, I use my iPhone 11 Pro Max for battery life and the “ecosystem” features like find friends, FaceTime, etc.

Same here, first time with an iPhone (bought the pro max) after so many years with Android. Coming from the note 10+ the camera is far better, the system animations are smooth, the Face ID just works and integrated in every secured app, and the battery is more then amazing! Yes I miss some features like call recording, bixby routines / tasker but nothing else. I think this is the first time that I’m going to use the same smartphone for more the 6 months.

So I am using now an iPhone 11 Pro after over 7 years with Android (last one was a Samsung Galaxy Note 8) and I must say, I miss Android but the iPhone is amazing. Because of its power and long lasting support. I hope I made the right choise :/

As a Pixel user, yeah, Google messed up. Again. And the iphone 11 was so tempting I would've gone for it if I hadn't gotten a Note 10 Plus before that. IOS may not be the best OS for me, but like you said, the phone can pretty much do everything I need done on a phone. Photos - Checked. Videos - Checked. Battery - Checked. Build quality - Checked. The only gripe is the price. There's a Google Assistant app for IOS, so that solves my need for GA. And I probably wouldn't use imessage as much, even on an iphone because in my country, iphone isn't the majority (it's 50-50) so I don't see myself getting stuck in the ecosystem.

As another reviewer puts it: Phones should change to suit our lifestyle. Consumers shouldn't have to change their lifestyle to suit their phones.

Much like the rest of the internet this video fails to talk about the fact that iPhones get optimized OS support for 5 years. Also the resale value is insanely good. So that actually makes the price of the phone much cheaper. Not to mention the free apps like Garageband, iMovie etc. they all cost money to develop and keep updated and optimized.
