Hey, I’ve got that book - can we take a moment to bask in the quality of its construction - the content goes without saying, but the cover just feels so good in the hand; you open it up and there are tables right on the inside before it even gets started; the stitching - the construction is just a work of art in and of itself

Great video! The Monster Overhaul is a real standout when it comes to resources that you can use to play more interesting and exciting. Some of those random tables included in monster descriptions are hilarious. I love the reasons mercenaries can't fight today tables.

You have totally sold on this mighty tome! I love customizing monsters in Shadowdark, but as awesome as those charts are, they are relatively small. TMO looks like it was created in the same delightful spirit as SD, but on a much larger canvas.

I got this thing on kickstarter and boy was it worth it! As you said, it's a fantastic source of inspiration. I am running an Ironsworn campaign and I still can use it.
