If mere presence of the parents, relatives and friends is not punishable during second marriage then they(law makers) shud visit THE COMMISSION OF SATI(PREVENTION)ACT, 1987
PART II, Srlno 4(abetment of sati) (1), (2) spcl attention to Srlno 4(2)(d)&(e) where participating and being present is punishable then why encouraging, participating and being present in the second marriage of the woman is not punishable?
Offcourse not under IPC 494 but there are various other sections where these encourages, spectators and participators should be booked(any legal expert can dictate under which section they can be booked) and offcourse IPC Sec 34(common intention)is also applicable 😊

गजब का न्याय है भई, दहेज प्रताड़ना, घरेलुहिंसा, सतिप्रथा, जैसे मामलों मे जो मुख्य अपराधी है, उसका साथ देने वाले वरपक्ष के (वधु के ससुराल पक्ष वाले) भी अपराधी माने जाते है, पर बहुविवाह में वधु पक्ष के घरातियो को छुट है, गजब का अंधा न्याय है, ऐसे पक्षपाती धाराओं से तो हिंदू समाज तहस नहस होकर ही रहेगा। बहुविवाह में सम्मिलित होने वाले हिंदू चाहे वर पक्ष के वर के विवाह मे शामिल हो या वधु पक्ष के वधु के विवाह मे, दोनो ही मामलों मे रिश्तेदारों को भी अपराधी मनके अपने अपराध के हिसाब से दंड दिया जाना चाहिए।
