This delicious Filipino delicacy is made by cooking glutinous rice mixed with coconut milk, sugar, and a bit of salt then rolled in banana leaves and steamed until soft and sticky. They are mildly sweet and filling, perfect as an afternoon snack with your fave hot drink.

I am from Hawai'i and I am used to eating these, but the rice is usually brown. Are those something different or is tamarind paste added to make brown or ti leaf?
