Izzy almost beat this guy in every single fight they had and even knocked him out cold in the last meeting. Casuals hand really made it seem like it was completely one sided. In kick boxing he lost a gift many seen him winning. In the fight he was knocked out in he was winning before he got knocked out. In the ufc he was winning that first fight by a mile almost stopping it in the first round. In the final fight, he caught him clean and had him unconscious for the world to see. Alex has only very slightly been better in their meetings.

The fact that Adesanya is the only one to take pereira’s power and remain standing in the ufc is crazy though and he’s the only one to flat line pereira as well. Their rivalry is one of the best. I think at 205 pereira wins easier though, that weight cut to 185 was brutal for him

Izzy is more of a natural middle weight or can make middle weight easier then Alex. The fact alex can cut that as much weight as he does and have power is amazing unfortunately he learned against someone just as skilled as him its doest always benefit to cut that much weight and thats why he was kocked out cold and why he went up shortly after. Thats also why he was able to be double champ bc Alex is more natural 205lber both great. But alex will leave the better legacy
