A Poem A Day: Celebrating National Poetry Month

In celebration of National Poetry Month, I've put together this series, A Poem A Day. April was designated NPM by the Academy of American Poets back in 1996. Since then all things poems, poetry, and poets have been celebrated during this month.
While most poets will attempt to write a poem a day, I decided to go a different route.
I've produced 30 fresh readings of some of my most popular and interesting poems from the collections I've self-published over the years. Topics include socio-political ideas, love won and lost, love found, and surviving and recovering from severe childhood trauma (abuse in its various forms).
