Common sense says Nikki and Brie spend more time together because they’re business partners and since Birdie travels with Brie Nikki hangs out with Birdie more. Instead of JJ just saying he wants to spend more time with his sister he has to put the kids in the middle which is uncalled for and pathetic imo. Just because you see birdie more w Nikki doesn’t mean she loves her other nieces less

It's only natural that Nikki prefers Birdie, she is her twins' daughter. Plus Nicole spends more time with them than with JJ.

JJ is so annoying. Why can’t he and his wife be adults and actually talk to Nikki instead of gossiping behind her back like little kids. If you feel Nikki loves Birdie more then that should be something you take up with her. It’s ridiculous people think that way because Nikki posts with Birdie more. Love isn’t measured by how many pictures you take with a child. And as people have already mentioned Nikki and Brie see each other constantly because they’re twins and run multiple business together.

JJ being petty, I'm an aunt and I love my nieces equally but I see one more than the rest, that's doesn't mean she's my favorite she just spend more time with me than the others do, but I treat them all the same and love them the same.

I honestly feel it’s his wife putting stuff in his head. She probably feels that way. But it’s that Nikki and Brie spend so much time together. Their twins, best friends and business partners. They also have the same careers and live next to each other!

Fun fact: Biologically speaking, Nikki and Brie’s kids will be half siblings! Anyways, though every aunt, and uncle have a favorite and maybe Nikki favors Birdie because she’s not only closer to Brie, but Brie and Nikki do everything together including an entire show. There was also a point where Brie, Birdie and Nikki were under the same roof so of course the bond is stronger. You want Nikki to spend more time with your kids, bring them around more? Talk to her more? Invite her over more? Don’t cry about it.

I've seen this situation before in real life. And it's not the matter of the kids. Kids that young are an extension of their parents. It really boils down to how close is Nikki to JJ? And how much time they spend together. Nikki spends alot of time with Brie, so therefore she will be around Birdie more & grow an attachment. The more time she spends with JJ, it will grow the relationship with his kids. You have to be around people to build a relationship. So JJ should've brought this conversation on differently, "Why dont we spend more time together, I want you to get to know my kids more"

Even before this scene, I always felt JJ and Lauren felt like this towards Nikki and I understand but it isn’t a big deal because Nikki literally lives with Brie, are business partners and yeah most obviously identical twins!

It’s obvious that nikki is Closer to Brie but she clearly favors Birdie and that isn’t fair to her other nieces who are going to feel that and maybe even resent birdie growing up. I remember a woman telling me that she favored my brother and that hurt my feelings as a kid. Who says that lol and worse they may just resent the twins. Even the kardashians don’t pick favorites ( at least not openly) between their siblings kids. Not cool. I hate that Nikki always deflects instead of owning her behavior.

She does. I've been saying this since Brie was pregnant with Birdie. Even then when Nikki would do an interview she'd say. "I can't wait to become an aunt." Knowing she already was one to Vivienne. There's always been major favoritism to Birdie on Nikki's part. You can call me a hater all you want to but if her own family says it how wrong can I be.

I think she does too. But I'm the same way with my two niece, is unintentional but it doesn't bother my sister-in-law and brother. I love them both the same way, but I hang out with one more than the other. Sometimes we hurt people unintentionally.
