80/20: Lite Panel Mount Block Overview

Hello, and welcome to 80/20's Product Highlight Series. Today we’re going to take a look at Lite Panel Mount Blocks. These connectors allow you to easily, and firmly mount panels to a profile.

They are easy to install and are available in fractional, metric, and compatible across wide range of profile series.

Now these blocks come in two styles, you have the standard block, and you have the drop in block. The only difference is that the standard requires a recommended bolt assembly. Now regardless of your choice, your panels going to need a drill through service, and a bolt to attach to these blocks.

Now to get started, take our profile, take our standard block, and slide it into the open Tslot. Once we get that into place, we’ll lock it down with our wrench. Now we’ll take our drop in one. This one simply drops into the open Tslot, give it a quarter turn clockwise, and it locks right into place. Now regardless of which on your choose, the panel simply mounts to the back of the block. You feed you’re bolt through, right into the block, hand-tighten that down, and finish it off with your wrench.

Now one last option you have, is a spacer. This if going to allow you to mount your panel to the surface of the profile, by filling the space between the block and the panel. You simply take the spacer and place it right onto the back of the block, just like that.
