So I thought I would just share some info with you on the vintage drill mount glasses you are picking up. I’m a licensed optician with 40 years experience (just say’n) the temples on them are called cable temples and the out side covers can be replaced so never worry about them! Trust me no one wants to put those on their ears anyway lol. The chassis (which is the front of the frame) is the important part. Make sure that the screws are not terribly corroded so as to be removed and replaced. The shape of the lens can be traced and duplicated! Some opticals will let you even chose a different shape like round etc. Looking for the 10k or 12k gf is a great idea! So long as they are not pitted too badly. People will also use these oldies to decorate with like displaying on an antique desk etc. Any other questions about optics I am more then happy to help 😊. Lori

I used to spend a lot on new tech & media stuff, back in the day. Like one of the first Walkman players that came out - cost me $150, back when that was a lot of money. Can't recall what we paid for our BetaMax video player that cost a fortune, but each movie cost between $65-$100. Our first DVD player cost $800. A ridiculously expensive turntable. A video disc player.

Now I find all that stuff for under $20. First good decision I have made on that stuff! Just had to wait about 45-50 years. 😊😊😊
