This is beautiful, calm, and very happy. There’s a story, but no villain. A journey, but no obstacle other than distance. There’s no struggle, only progress. I was constantly on edge, waiting for something to happen to the witches, to the star, but nothing ever did. It was peaceful.
We need more of this sometimes, I think. A reminder that not everything involves struggle, that some things can be easy and that’s alright.

I nearly teared up listening to this 5 years later. When I listened to it the first time, I was 13 and living in China, miles away from my brother, who was staying in Ecuador for university. The first time I listened to this song on Christmas night, I cried from happiness knowing my brother was there to spend Christmas with me as a family. Listening again, after New Years had passed that week, I cried again, knowing it was the last time I'd see him for a while. But even then, I smiled through my tears, thanking my lucky stars that I was blessed with the most amazing big brother I could ever ask for.

I aspire to become someone who can bring this much joy to people as much as he did, that a song can make me cry just from remembering that week <3
