Great explanation, but I don't know if you are aware the blood test explanation only applies to fraternal twins, as they have different sets of DNA. If you are expecting identical twins the blood test will be accurate as identical twins are always the same sex as they can't be different genders as their DNA is identical. Only time blood test works in fraternal twins is if you get xx, you know its 2 girls.

This kinda makes me down because I just had the blood work done on Monday for the genders and abnormalities which I’m praying all is well with. However I’m having fraternal twins. I’m also a twin I have a twin sister. I’m excited to get the blood work back and eager so I can plan my twin reveal. However now I’m a little worried on what the results could be because I’m learning that if it comes back that there is a boy in there that I’m not going to know if there could also be a girl in there as well. However if there is a girl in there then that would mean 2 girls. This is very confusing and now I’ll worry when I do the reveal because I’m not sure if the genders will be correct if the boy chromosome comes back and there is actually a girl in there as well. Does anyone have any advice on this for me?
