Someone needs to tell Boris with a megaphone that Omicron is mild and he needs to stop with “Plan B”

I'm still not taking any chances. I'm wearing 57 Heavy duty masks, under a welding mask, and wearing a full Hazmat suit. Of course I only leave my underground bunker for 2 reasons, firstly for my daily booster jab, and secondly on a Thursday night to clap our heroic NHS.

If its mild we should let it spread and outrun delta. Looks like theres hope the virus is weaker but like they say its still abit early to suggest that

I've just seen the latest Omicron forecasts from Professor Neil Ferguson. By mid January, there could be 387 million cases of Omicron in the UK.

There is a difference between omicron and delta. We definitely have more omicron it seems. But here in SA there is also a let's wait and see situation before reacting and or over reacting. The people have lives to live and they cannot be hoping for government handouts to bail them out. Life goes on.

A basic issue that should be reviewed and emphasized is as follows:

"There is more need of medicine to cure the infected than vaccines to prevent infection of others."

How many times and how long should vaccine jabs be administered during this Covid-19 period? How many times and how long should the non-infected and healthy people be compromised by administration of vaccine jabs. Some countries already had 1st, 2nd, 3rd or initial booster shots. Now, should they be administered with another booster or 4th shots?

I remember people saying the same thing about another variant-delta.
I'll wait for definitive analysis from epidemiologists and not hearsay from social media, group messenging apps and live streams.
