Thanks for the video! I loved Gilligan's Island as a kid and I think of it fondly compared with today's TV shows!

The beauty of television is these people will be forever young in the eyes of an audience that still watches these reruns and they will go on to live forever in our hearts

Jim Backus aka Mr.Magoo was a brilliant actor. Funny, yet always professional. All of the members of the ensemble were extremely talented and amazing people. This show was one of the best memories I have growing up. That and the Bugs Bunny/Road-Runner Show on Saturday mornings. So many memories of those iconic shows and how they had such an impact on our lives. RIP to all that have passed on. Thank you for allowing us to laugh with you, and enjoy your work. God Bless you all.

How funny as a child I always thought how is it that they can make a radio out of coconuts but can't built a boat to take them of the island. What a great show and kept my youth excited to see the next episode even though it was well before my time as a teen.

What's there to say? I grew up watching it from the time I was 6 to 9 years old. '64 >'67, during my wonder years, . The show, and the music that was playing in the background of the time defined the era. ✌☺

Well not all have died, and I wouldn’t say many died tragically. Most lived long, happy lives, with successful careers.

That is not Alan Hale Jr. on the right at 1:39 that is his father - Alan Hale Sr.

The after pic of Alan Hale Jr is actually his Dad, Alan Hale Sr.

Russell Johnson was so accessible on his social media. He'd interact with his fans daily.

It certainly was a fun and amusing series, but I would stop short, no well short, of calling it one of the best TV series of all time.

That picture of Hale on the right is his father, not Hale, Jr.

We need to get a remake of Gilligan Allen. My favorite shows since I was a kid. I miss them all. God bless them and thank you. Last one of them is heroes.

Currently, Tina Louise (Ginger Grant) is the only surviving original cast member of "Gilligan's Island." She's in her early 80s now.
