Aussie quartet 5 Seconds Of Summer made a stop in London recently to promote their brand-new album, Sounds Good Feels Good, so Kerrang! caught up with Ashton, Michael, Luke and Calum to find out their ultimate rock playlist - featuring AC/DC, Slipknot, Foo Fighters and more! jfc just because they WERE associated with one direction and they don't dress or act like how other artists that appear on kerrang do, doesn't mean they're a boyband. if they really ARE boybanders then why'd you think kerrang invited them for an interview? stop stripping them from what they are - a band. you might not like them but the least you can do is not negatively criticise them.

I love this because talking about their favourite music makes them all so cheerful especially considering that they're probably still very tired from touring.

I haven't really listened to 5 Seconds of Summer so I can't say I'm a fan, but does it really matter what genre of music they play? Who cares if they're a pop-punk band or a boyband, look at their success they're clearly doing something right.

I think that touring with One Direction is the main reason behind all the hate from the "rock fans" because they don't want any association with a boyband.
