While watching Vampire diaries - Season 3, I hated Klaus to the verge of his extinction but pretty much that changed after watching the successive seasons - he wasn't entirely bad - never had proper parents. But in the Originals, I'm glad that he's the best dad to Hope, he never had such parents yet he wanted to break that barrier trauma but striving to be a good dad to her. He healed himself in the process.
