First Look: 2018 Honda Odyssey - Homer on the Road

Executive Producer, Brian Roberts gathered the family and flew to Hawaii to get a First Look of the 2018 Honda Odyssey.

Very nice, we bought my wife a brand new '17 Toyota Sienna SE in January, I love the minivan even though I am only in my 30s:) I can't tell you how many people I have raced and won, they laugh their asses off when they realize they just got dusted by a minivan! We got in the Honda and found it wasn't near as comfortable as the Toyota.

Much better looking Odyssey than the 4th generation. Everything looks much better inside! I did not care for the 2 tier screen center infotainment system before. I love the way the 2nd row makes a 2 person bench like the 99 Odyssey.

Such a shame so many people care so much about image that great vans like this get passed up for another big dumb SUV... Even though the van is more spacious, more comfortable, more efficient, easier to get into and out of, packed with more tech and useful features, has a better ride, is easier to drive and park, all at a more reasonable price.

I think the Crysler Pacifica is the best minivan, specailly because of the second row folding system. To bad it is a FCA product, so the quality isn't going to be great.

I thought they titled this "Homer on the Road" as a reference to the similarly-ugly vehicle that Homer Simpson designed. (Before anyone calls me out on it - yes, I know it's actually referring to the Homer's novel The Odyssey.)

I just don't get it how that be called as minivan. Its just too small to be called minivan. Maybe I used to look at different minivan here in my country, such as the Hyundai Starex/H1 (it seats up to 11 people), Toyota Vellfire & Alphard (with the captain seat). And yeah, this odyssey are ugly. Its bland and dull
