Don't waste your money on a NIU ESCOOTER like the KQi3 Max

If you're going to get one, because they do seem well built, just buy the cheapest they make. You need to activate the scooter with the mobile app after creating an account - which is a garbage factory move to start with - to unlock most of the features, so not worth paying more than maybe $600 AUD.

I got it for the top speed, range, regenerative braking, and incline ability, but I can only use half of those features due to 1) registration-wall and 2) even when I tried to register, an absolutely busted app.

To be honest though, I'd rather have a crippled escooter than have to hand over my personal details creating an account and registering the bike. Too many vendors do this now and it's just an absolutely disgusting way of collecting data to try to make more money.

I'm not sharing the product page or purchase links for this because I don't want anyone else to get ripped off like I did.
