I think this might be more of a flashback into their minds and be a psychological horror. I also think the detailed rooms would be real life as youre coming back, and its all a dream in a coma of sorts maybe? Then, later in the game you come back to your senses and that is Garten of Banban 8, being back in the real world but having deja vu moments from the dreams. Just an idea I had, but we'll see. (Edit: Just realuzing now, I think the dream would be you thinking about your kid and how they would see banban, nabnab, slow seline, etc. They would see them as innocent and taking care of him, hence the kid-like features and looks. This could explain some of our backstory as the characters ask our kid about himself, and he would go through Banban 1, drawing the pictures we see on the ground and desks too, and suddenly we awaken in Garten of Banban 8. Banban would include flashes to this dream ws you worry about what could've happened to your kid. Hope Think sees this!)

Think, I have 2 doors challenges for you. You can do one, the other or both!

Challenge #1: No loot left behind.
Bring every piece of loot (that you can) to the end of the game: this can be done in floor 1 or 2, no matter what, you must open EVERY compartment (unless its a vine chest and you don't have shears) and no loot can despawn. You must use one of an item if it is at its max and if you can't then you have to keep bringing items back and forth. This does count gold. Mandatory items don't count, as you cannot keep them forever.

Challenge #2: All loot left behind.
No loot can be picked up during this, if loot is picked up, it has to be dropped before use. Gold doesn't count here, you can pick up as many as you want. Mandatory items don't count as they are required to beat the game.
