In this video Big Tractor Power is out in the field with a model year 2022 JOHN DEERE S790 Combine 75th Anniversary Edition harvesting corn with a C12R 12 row corn head. In this video I ride along in the class 9 543 hp 400 bu. combines cab and visit with the farmer Billy to talk about harvesting 11,000 acres of corn with 5 S790 combines. Billy also talks about the JOHN DEERE combines he has owned and operated over the years.

I really enjoy listening to Billy. He's very nice, accommodating and explained things in a way we all can understand. Love ALL Garnett Farms videos. Thanks Jason 👍🏻.

I know it's hard for a lot of farmers to be on camera, but Bily does such an awesome job & is always so informative !! Another great video !!

Enjoy listening to Mr Billy it would be good if you could do a sit down interview with him on how they got started in the early days of Garnett farms and now they farm 30000 acres thank you

Thanks again for getting Billy to share some of his farming insights… he does a great job on camera when you get to ride along. A question that I’d like to hear Billy’s response is whether he’s ever considered running tracks on the combines? One other question - did you ever make a video detailing the huge grain storage system on Billy’s home farm?

I've run a John Deere 9660 STS Bullet Rotor combine with my boss to harvest some wheat in South Central Kansas near Conway Springs. They harvest anything from Wheat, Milo, Soybeans, and Corn

If there was an embassidor for grain farming at bigger scale but still doing it for the love of the actual work it would be Billy, we had the 50th 9600

Great video Jason. Billy is always a good one to talk to. I liked how he explained about things you have to consider in upgrading combines and what goes with it such as larger planters, grain heads, etc.

Wow that was some video Jason, love it when you feature Billy he's such a hive of information and personality that he could write the next text book on Harvesting. Sure be interesting to see where John Deere combines end up after the next 75 years of production.

It seems so strange to realise they had been around so long. We have a photo of my dad as a teen having lunch before a traction engine powered thrasher where he had been working with his dad, grandfather and uncles alongside the owner of the engine and thrasher. He would have been 86 next year and was still working full time through hay making this year.

Great video with Billy. Interesting hearing the mindset about upgrading to X model line. Having to take into consideration planter configurations to match things up etc etc. Thanks again.
