Pan Fried Crouton Crumbles RECIPE:

Cut 1/2 baguette into small pieces then add to a food processor bowl. Pulse until it resembles panko breadcrumbs. Into a skillet add 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil, add 1 garlic clove minced and cook for 1 minute on medium heat. Add the breadcrumbs and be sure to spread evenly. Let cook for 2 minutes without stirring. Add 1 tsp of salt (or to taste), 1/2 tsp black pepper and 2 tsp nutritional yeast (optional). Sprinkle 2 tablespoons of minced parsley and stir. Cook until golden brown (another 4-5 minutes in low heat). Let cool before serving ❤️

Italians make something similar called pan grittata and they use it as a crunchy topping sprinkled over pasta. Delicious!
