Considering the fact that Claude has many step-siblings, who hated and discrimated against him, telling Hilda that she should show more gratitude towards her brother is kinda sweet and somewhat sad.

Wow, Claude really brings out the best in Hilda. Compare this to many other endings where Hilda just completely stays out of politics in spite of her clear talents for it.

My bro Claude is thirsting over Hilda hard. This is their C SUPPORT, not their A support, their C SUPPORT. Man jumped in straight away, wishing that she would grasp his neck.

Love these two. After Cyril, I think this is the most honest Claude has been with another person. The same goes for Hilda. The only other person I think she was honest with from the start is Caspar.

Hilda doesn’t trust Claude because of any obligation or power dynamic, as is present with Dimitri/Dedue and Edelgard/Hubert, but simply because she thinks he’s a good guy. Claude doesn’t give people much reason to trust him, but they cope with their issues similarly, thus Hilda can understand how Claude’s whole teasing/flirty act is a ploy to keep people out. I think they have the most interesting Lord/Retainer relationship in the game. She’s easily Claude’s biggest supporter and praises him a lot if you recruit her into other routes.

The two characters who are among the most manipulative students in the game are at their most honest together. +Hilda’s ending with Claude is the only ending where she enters politics at all. I think it says at lot about their relationship for Hilda, who hates politics, to enter the atmosphere with him.

a lot of people like to theorize that nader is actually claude's dad but i think it's p clear from this support that he's actually claude's combat instructor that his mom pummeled

I was kind of ambivalent about these two at first but now I love this pairing. I like that you don’t even need to see their Support chain just to see how much they care about each other. Whether seeing them constantly hanging out with each other at the monastery to their bantering during meal times and group tasks, it feels like they’ve been into each other even before the start of the game. Also, Hilda is willing to die for Claude. She tells Byleth explicitly in their Support chain that she doesn’t see the point in dying for someone else, but she _will_ do that for Claude depending on the route. I can’t bring myself to romance either of them because I’d feel like I’m stealing them from each other.

Claude and Hilda are my favorite lord/retainer relationship and it shows here with their chemistry. I love how Hilda is loyal to Claude out of genuine friendship. Hubert and Dedue keep this barrier of servitude that makes them lack chemistry with Edelgard and Dimitri in comparison. I believe Dimitri and Edelgard express how this flaw causes them to lack independence apart from their lord. But Hilda thrives when she’s with Claude. They understand each other due to their similarities and she even ends up in politics. It hits harder that she shows devotion for Claude in Crimson Flower because you see them be genuinely close throughout school. As someone who played Golden Deer first it was sad to kill Hilda. I did it with Marianne and it made she realize she was willing to kill one of her closest friends for Claude as well.

And people wonder why Claude can't marry male Byleth. Claude and Hilda seem pretty canon no matter what.

I gotta say, these two have some really nice supports. I don't particularly care for them as a romantic pairing, but it makes me so happy to see Claude being genuinely open and honest with someone, and to see them both trusting each other despite the immense walls that both of them put up. Lifelong friendship right there.

I'd definitely say if not for FByleth this who Claude is made for! <3 Hilda obviously cares about him and she has a princess look about her which is fitting for a prince! She's what Dedue is to Dimitri and Hubert to Edelgard

This right here is my all time favorite ship in Three Houses because Hilda and Claude play off of each other so perfectly; there is something about their chemistry that the other house leaders and retainers straight up lack.
