Ladies and gentlemen... The Ft. Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport was honored to be blessed with a Delta 747 one final time. Dozens of photographers, videographers, and all around aviation enthusiasts came out to be part of this amazing experience. Since all other regular passenger 747's in the United States are now retired, N674US is the last of her kind. This rare charter flight arrived on Saturday carrying the Buffalo Bills for their game against the Miami Dolphins.
Interestingly enough, the weather was forecast to be completely clear all day. But for some reason, thick fog started to form, which grew even thicker throughout the day... This ultimately ruined the shot so many people wanted with the skyline in the background. And to make things even more odd, the fog completely cleared up immediately after the 747 arrival, revealing the clear skies that were originally forecast.
The departure leg is already on FlightAware under the same flight number. It'll be at night, but we might be there!
