Vital BASS Sound Design: 808s, Plucks, Growls and Sub Bass

This video tutorial will introduce 4 bass sounds - the Sub Sine, 808, Pluck and Growl Bass.
Be sure to use headphones or studio monitors so that you can hear the low end in this video. You might find that the bass you create sounds much more full than in this video as YouTube audio processing is sometimes not very good!

Thank you for this incredible tutorial, Michael, but especially for the tip about using distortion and EQ to get lower basses to cut through on smaller sound systems. I've really been trying to focus on making music better for phone and laptop speakers, and I did come across the use of distortion and other techniques, but no other video has explained these concepts in as concise and clear a manner as you have. Aside from that, the abundance of other tips included in this other video (e.g., using the "Phase" function to cut down on pops and clips) are incredibly helpful as well. Thanks again! :)
