11th July 2023 Garden Tour

A little later in the month than usual for a tour of my cut flower garden on the Cotswold edge in Gloucestershire. There has been a flurry of weddings, workshops and garden tours of the last few weeks. The hot weather has finally broken and we’ve had some much needed rain. In fact straight after filming the heavens opened as you’ll see at the end of this clip. The first succession of hardy annuals are coming out and there are a queue of plants waiting to be planted for late summer flowering. Do watch to see if the dahlias have started flowering and how I’ve got on with sowing biennials.
