The US Department of Defense confirmed to the New York Times the existence of a secret $22m program to investigate UFOs, according to a report published by the newspaper on December 16.

The program was launched in 2007 and funded until 2012 with the support of the then-Senate majority leader Harry Reid. The program was run by Luis Elizondo, who resigned from his post in October, citing concerns over excessive secrecy and internal opposition to the program in his resignation letter to Defense Secretary James Mattis, according to the New York Times report.

To The Stars Academy of Art and Science, a research organization founded in October 2017 by Elizondo to conduct research into “exotic science and technologies,” released footage of two incidents acquired from the DOD on December 16.

They're confirming it now so it can be easily forgotten and swept under the rug during this current pandemic.

The size of the object that’s about 240 yards away has been calculated to be the size of a duck with a wing span of about 1 meter, the wingspan of a Canadian Duck. The speed of the object has been definitely measured at about the speed of a duck. The heat signature of the object being recorded by the infrared camera is exactly the heat of a duck. Apparently it quacks like a duck and it looks like a duck. So, obviously it’s an alien space craft.
