We've just got our first allotment plot and absolute beginners, so videos like this are incredibly useful! We'll definitely be watching more. Thank you :)

Hello Brian, great tips for all gardeners not just for novices, I spent 8 months clearing my new plot and now I am reaping the rewards of all that hard work and being relatively weed free.

I have a no dig garden for almost 30 years now so I found it realy funney seeing some one working so hard
either I cover it with rotten wood chips that are two years old almost like soil but I put 3to4 inches on or I have green manure on my beds
keep up the hard work

That's a brilliant tool. I spent £300 last year on all wolf garten tools and that s defo MY favourite. Well worth every penny! It's really good for my stony clay soil and it's like I've sieved it when finished.

Awesome. Glad I stumbled across this video, just taken over an overgrown allotment so am educating myself. But you're also demonstrating a tool I have been considering purchasing!

New to allotments and gardening and am currently clearing my new plot. This was so helpful and I'm literally running off to B&Q to pick up a hoe and rake now! Thanks so much! Loved it!

We were so impressed with your demo of the Wolf Tiller that we have rushed out and bought one but unfortunately it has been too wet to try it yet. It is drying up now though.. Thank you for the tip.
We do have a Chillington Hoe and Canterbury Hoe which are extremely useful - made in England too.

Thank you Brian for all your great videos. These Youtube allotment video are an enormous help.

My land is a South facing slope, very light, sandy and acid so probably not the norm. In the 70s I read a book by a Dr Shewell-Cooper on minimum cultivation and this is a system I have adopted and this has been very successful for me. A couple of years ago I bought a Chillington and Canterbury Hoe which make a fantastic combination. I must admit that there are a lot of slugs but nematodes from a company with the great name of Nemasys.

We have a few Wolf tools but I have never seen that tiller before, it looks brilliant.

For what is worth i got rid of loads of bindweed from my beds without digging, and just by continuously removing the top growth over 2 years. Now it's gone for good.

Wonderful video. I echo others...lovely to see someone else doing the hard work. :) Hubs got me a weed-whacker type hoe that needs to attach to a new pole. Without the scuffle attachement, it looks very much like the last hoe you used. Anxious to try it out!

I’m having a serious case of soil envy. Our property is mainly clay & a total pain so I just found myself mesmerized by the turning over of dirt😂
