The end is near. The world’s best hit the water at the iconic reef of Teahupo’o to settle the remaining scores toward clinching a spot into the WSL Final 5. Showstopping performances from wildcards Vahine Fierro and Mihimana Braye held down their Tahitian waters while the fight for the WSL Final 5 witnessed shakeups and success. Yago Dora stepped up to hold his spot for now, but Gabriel Medina, John John Florence, Jack Robinson, and Leonardo Fioravanti are banging on the door. Plus, Molly Picklum and Tyler Wright hold firm over contenders looking to surge in as Caitlin Simmers looks fearless.

Tahiti is the end of the road. The most critical wave on Earth serves as the final stop on tour and decides the fight for the WSL Final 5 and Qualification Season race. At Teahupo’o, the world’s best surfers get one last chance to lay it all on the line for a spot in the Rip Curl WSL Finals. Who will make it?

So unfortunate that both Teahupoo and JBay weren't a week or so earlier than when they've run this year

Hope we get some swell soon… what a year. Apparently Rottnest has been going off. Reckon 3 WSL comps a year in West Oz. You know your getting waves
