Blackwolf Ryebuck tent/swag review 8 months later and I still love this swag. Although I'm game to try anything new when it comes to camping I reckon it will be hard to beat this swag. There are a few negative points about it but mostly I love it.

Heavy duty heat shrink works a treat on the cracked poles especially the light weight alloy poles.

I used one on a motorcycle..lleft sleeping bag in with a thinner mattress. Still went in the bag...winter rallies -5° still toasty warm. I have only used tents till this Ryebuck, kills it. Warm and allways frist to be setup and a beer in the hand. I Love it. It's a pretty large swag on a bike, but didn't worry me on rough fire trials. 11/10 for me.

Hi Ronny, use electrical heat shrink to stop the crack in the pole worsening. Great channel.

I guess that if you go camping with the car such a tent might be ok (heavy, bulky), BUT even so I find that pack simply huge for a 1-man tent... just way too big! and if the lower sides of the cover remain open there should be a much higher floor material running from the bottom to the mesh... otherwise design is ok even as I have seen better solutions. For our conditions in northern Patagonia this would be a no-go anyway because of the strong winds and pouring rain, but it is always nice to get to see other products and approaches to outdoor design, customs and traditions, your videos are very instructive!

Thanks Ronnie. I've been looking for a new swag that can give good ventilation as I'm a big guy that likes to feel the breeze. I'm going to buy one of these today.
Great view mate.... channel is becoming world class. When are you coming to NSW? We would love to show you some great spots....! Cheers mate

never been a swag person, a good 2 man tent, mattress and sleeping bag is smaller lighter and easier to carry IMO.

Hey mate, im sure you have already thought of this but cant you just peg out the side flaps with the loops stitched in on the flap and enter/exit from the front end on cold windy nights? cheers
