The experiment as far as isolation is okay but to simulate the conditions of Mars is difficult itself.
PEOPLE CANNOT LIVE OR STAY ON MARS FOR LONG PERIODS OF TIME.
Mars has dust storms that last for months. There's no protection from cosmic radiation.
Temperatures fall far below zero that could kill in a few minutes and never over 75° fahrenheit.
I also agree with another observation that Mars has been hit with the most dramatic and dangerous electrical storms or discharge from somewhere.
