Thank you for such a beautiful rendition of this song. Having just been to France this year to visit the grave of my Great-uncle who died on the Somme in 1917 this song is very special. He was 17yrs old.

I don't know how such a young girl can capture such emotion in such a stirring song. Beautiful mature and pure performance. There is something very soulful in the true reflection of many Irish songs and this young girl demonstrates the soul in her beautiful rendition.

I am glad to see that these young children are exploring war and it’s impacts. I was probably sixteen when the recruiters came to my high school. I joined the United States Navy Reserves when I was seventeen. Fortunately for me, I didn’t go active until I had completed college and I was not deployed to Vietnam. Many of my friends were.
