If I owned and could afford such a house, I think of how I could invite friends to live with me for little or no rent so as to ease their financial burdens/strain and of how some of our own food could be grown on the property. The big entrance hall shown here could be used for groups to meet in whether a religous or a secular organization.

What a waste. Why demolish this mansion just to build brand new? There's nothing wrong with the integrity of the structure of this home. And nothing wrong with the interior either. So why not just update the current home and save all of those materials? There's a fortune in marble alone. Just look at how much of it that there is. And I bet it will just be replaced with more marble. It looks like the exterior of the house is what needs the most work. But by updating the interior and replacing the exterior just think of how much money AND MATERIALS can be saved. Not to mention what can be saved of mother EARTH. We keep taking and taking from the earth, but not giving back or replacing what we take, and soon the earth will not be able to sustain mankind at all. Human population is at an all time high and I'm worried about sustainability for our planet. And do you realize that humans are the only ones that can consciously control the number off offspring they have? Oh look!!! I digressed. So sorry. RESTORE, REUSE, AND REMODEL. SAVE THE 🌎 EARTH. why demolish just to rebuild using the same materials just because you have enough money to do it???
