Hey party people! Thanks so much for hanging out with me while I share with you this new back to school thrifting experience! I wanted to take the girls thrifting before we did any other back to school shopping! We checked out the shoes, backpacks, and clothes! I was also on the hunt for a wedding guest dress so I tried on a lot of dresses and really none of them were great spoiler alert. haha You know I also went through the rest of the store to see all the other thrifted finds too! I remember more than one person would ask me how with 8 kids do my husband and I dress our kids in name brand clothing. I said thrift stores! DUH people!!! I would love a a big thrift store like this near me in rural America! My 8 are all grown now. I see you are enjoying your children while they are young. We never got told that the hardest part of parenting is the day your children grow up and move out! My first I cried for 2 weeks! But you just always have to learn a new normal.

I love the idea of telling the wedding guests to wear certain colors. Creates a whole aesthetic for photos and vibes for the day. Makes every guest feel involved and important instead of just the bridal party. If I got married today and not 13 years ago, I would have done that instead of having bridesmaid

The apple is a pepper grinder. You put whole peppercorns in and turn the handle on the top, and it grinds pepper over your food.

Good mom! As a kid we lived the thrifted school shopping thing and it gave me a love for it as an adult and now mom of 3, teach them young that good stuff doesn’t have to be new or expensive. Have pride in practical things bought on a budget.

The apple you found at the thrift store is a peppercorn grinder you put the peppercorns in the top you unscrew it and it grinds up your pepper fresh pepper..

Random Idea: Carry a marker of each color in your purse and put a dot on your hand for all the colors of tags that are on sale so you don't forget!
