I don't care what anyone says! It never ceases to amaze me what one finds in thrift stores! I love the hunt!

I wish the thrift stores in my area were still “thrift” stores. Their prices are now so high you can no longer find a good deal. My hubby and I used to love looking for treasures, but there aren’t any more out there.

Finding "The Precious!!!" at Goodwill should be the plotline for the next phase.

My son loved the Grover book. I read to him many times using my best Grover voice.

6:53 I remeber when these necklaces were popular in the late 70's and early 80's. Usually different colored birds. Yours is more unusual, good find.

My mom made one of these from a kit in the 70's. The kits came with the 70's colord of yarn included.

Hey physical media is not worthless...vhs and dvds are better than streaming crap ..NO Ads or BS...and its fun and economically wise if your poor...and some old vhs tapes are collectors items😅

That glass jug is a wine cooler. Put ice in the insert to keep the wine cool.

Im in my 80s. Nothing confirmed this more to me than watching people thrift things I have owned, and things I still have. Lol

That list of words that said "What does this mean?" is a list of genericized terms--words that were once trademarked but are now used without any legal trademark to describe many things of that kind.

At 13:50, I’ve got that measuring cup but it’s got a reamer top, (as in orange juicer)😮

That LOTR ring is engraved with a real language. JRR Tolkien created the language of Quenya (the formal, ritualistic liturgical language of the Elves) from scratch, with dictionaries, grammars, the works. There are human people who SPEAK both Quenya and Sindarin. Sindarin is the common elvish language. The beautiful flowing, engraved script is called Tengwar.

I got 2 new with tags pairs of paramedics pants for $20 today. They retail over $100. I'm not a paramedic but can't pass up some good pants.
