Simon's speech against the Anti-Spiral was great and all, but his speech while digging a hole with his car keys, "Believe in the Simon(You) that believes in yourself" was such a perfect conclusion to his childhood character arc and a great supplement to Kamina's speech.
Kamina tells you to believe in those who trust you, if you can't believe in yourself, but he also tells you that at the end of the day, the only one who can ultimately get you to stand up, fight, and face life is yourself.
