The largest church in Italy and the third largest in the world. It was built in Gothic style and its construction took six centuries. It began in the 14th century and was finished in 1965. The archbishop of Milan is seated there.

The cathedral is a true gem in the very heart of Milan. Its interior houses more than three thousand marble statues. The most recognised one is probably the Saint Bartholomew Flayed, created by Marco d'Agrate.
