The Incredible Chernobyl Divers Story

Season 1 Episode 4 | In the aftermath of the Chernobyl explosion, considered the world's worst nuclear disaster, three men volunteered for what many believed was a suicide mission.

Their task: enter the basement beneath the burning Chernobyl reactor, drain the bubble pools and prevent a nuclear catastrophe that could render much of Europe uninhabitable.

Today on Ready Set Disaster, we’ll be diving into radioactive water with some of the bravest men who ever lived. This is the story of the Chernobyl Divers.
