I have the 2016 Rally Edition with the 6spd mt, and I can confirm these cars have a surprising amount of pep. The handling is the real secret though. I haven't driven a car that handles like this thing does. It's unreasonably nimble. Not a bad daily driver for 15k.

In my 2016 Veloster Turbo, Manual Transmission.. I have hit 7.49, but it was a pretty hot day. Summer in Georgia is pretty hot. Nice video.

That 3rd gear is very strong. Front wheel drive launches much better than rear does. Nice. I’d like to see how the veloster stacks up against the Passat maybe one day

Put big tires on it, and wider whels with less weight, and it will do 6 with no mods other than a cone filter. 225/45r18 700aa or + on 18.5 anovia nights is what I have. They weigh 19 lbs. Give or take. also muffler delete with turn down. No need for cat back or Axl back if you want to save money. 100 dollars for exhaust and intake. Tires and wheels like 1800. people don't realize rubber and unsprung weight is a huge deal for cars. You get a better ride better gas mpg and more hp. It pays for it's self.

My husband has the same car. I have the 2016 altima 3.5SL and it does 0-60 in about 5.5 seconds. He tried to say he would beat me 🤣 he would in the corners but not a straight away

Id swap the intake for a sxth or tork intake i had a 2015 turbo in the regular auto and i beat a v6 camaro at an 1/8th mile track

i’m a new VT owner and i’ve noticed it’s a different drive than what i’m used to. i have the DCT model and the gear shifts tend to be a little jerky at times. is this normal?

Shifted a few hundred rpm too short, learn where the limit is at and shift then and I think you’ll get a quicker time
