Tasting a Japanese Horse Meat Barbecue

Horse meat is a popular dish in Japan. We're going to try one of the most famous cuts in the country in the northern prefecture of Aomori.

I ate horse in France when I was a child, and I'll tell you it tasted better and had a better texture than ANY beef steak I've ever tried. The same could be said about Ostrich steaks

When did you come to Takko?? I literally live here and work for this company in the office upstairs. Last week was the debut of the newly upgraded Garlic Steak lunch. You should come back and try it! Also, in case anyone wants to come try this dish, we only make 40 a day (50 a day on weekends) and half of the daily sets are only available via reservation over the phone and the other half are on a first-come first-serve basis.
