You can rotate the freight cars and engines while placing them like regular blocks.

One thing I discovered is that rail tracks conduct/transmit electricity so you *don't* need to run power poles to the other end of your rail track! Just tap off the power from your end station.

You can turn the Loco round when placing it by just using your scroll wheel just like everything else in the game.

Make sure to keep the uranium and the nuclear waste far away from your base as its highly radioactive and the more of it you have the further the radioactivity spreads

You'll have to flip that station around in order to do a double-headed train; the stations at each end have to be facing the same direction as the train engine that's entering it.

There is an alternate silica recipe using quartz and limestone. Handy since quartz is kinda hard to get to enough of.

Keep in mind that the Satisfactory map is not up to date on a few of the recent changes. Bauxite in Particular.
Due N of you is an excellent spot up high in the Red Bamboo Forest. Keep in mind they are modifying that area however and if you build up there you might find a stink farm pop up in your factory or an indestructible tree through a building.

How do you loop the track back to its self?

I sugest you build the nuclear facility on another biome your current location is too close and small.
To the east there is a swamp biome with a large cave behind a waterfall. In that cave there is a uranium node an enough room to store nuclear waste .
North of the swamp there is a desert wasteland.
