This song experiments with silence in a way previous Starset songs haven’t, at least not to this extent. There are a couple points where you have a moment completely devoid of sound, placed where you’d least expect, and it has the effect of being very disorienting and ear-catching. Makes the heaviness of the music hit that much harder, when you are given just enough time to register that it’s quiet before it comes right back in again.

Starset does nothing without a reason. This being the first song with an f bomb is going to be meaningful in the course of the lore, and I can't wait for the big picture of the next album. If Horizons was "who hurt Dustin, " I think this album is going to be "who is Dustin hurting."

I remember someone saying "something wicked this way comes.." relates to the next album being dark, and I'm now convinced.
