Well done, Jeff. I was really glad to see you make progress at Pond 5.
You have been patient while you built up a portfolio there. I'll bet that from now on
you get regular returns at Pond.
It does not surprise me that you do well on Dreamstime. This is my second best platform
after Adobe.
As always, thanks for sharing your info.

Well done Geoff. Not many stock photographers would be making that magic number for a sales month. I see you are also approaching that number with subscribers - won't be long! Nice to see you are now getting some use out of the drone and making some sales. The drone gives many options for stock. When I started using a drone, I nearly always concentrated on video but now spend more time taking still shots. I've just bought a new GoPro and was interested to see you sell some fairly simple GoPro videos - I better get onto it! Cheers.

Hi Jeff, congratulations on a great month. I can see you looked pumped giving this update. I been watching you for quite some time but have never commented as I mainly watch YouTube on TV. But this update inspired me to jump on the computer. I had a similar month on Shutterstock in July with video making $490 and $543 total. Video is definitely the way to go. I hadn't picked up a camera until 2018, started Microstock in Feb 2019. Didn't take me long to see that photos or other still images were not going to be worth my time, what with trying to catch up with thousands of images across a number of sites. So began to focus much more on video and now only contribute to Shutterstock, Adobe Stock, iStock/Getty and Pond5. Relocated from Canberra to Sydney in November 2021 and since more than doubled and even tripled / quad tripled my video portfolios on these sites since then. For example, went from 410 vids on Shutterstock to 1024 today. Went from less than 500 vids on Pond5 to over 1100 vids. Have about 800 on each Adobe and iStock. Like you, I moved into drone as I just generally had an interest with these amazing devices anyway. It's all starting to pay off with the three months (July, Aug and Sept) average at $710 a month. Would never have come anywhere close to these numbers running mad trying to upload enough images. I'm just hoping that similar results will continue going forward. Anyway, great update.

Jeff, thank you for your informative videos. I found your portfolio on SS very interesting. You obviously enjoy photographing buildings and places of interest. Hope you enjoyed your trip to London in August. I worked there for 25 years but still enjoy exploring its back streets. One question - which video tripod do you use? Video tripods tends to be on the heavy side and are a pain to carry when you are out and about. You used it indoors when visiting Harry Potter exhibits. They didn’t object? Was that a GO Pro shot as well? Thanks again for your inspiring videos, very helpful.

Wow what a wonderful month! Loving those video sales Jeff! as always your skyline shots are just so damn good.
What was the significance of that building in the video that sold twice?
Also really cool to see your first drone video sell too. Here’s to more of those sales! 🍻

thanks for the information, I have a tiny portfolio, making the odd sale, so seeing your success encourages me to continue to grow my library. not joined Adobe yet as I. have a lot of editorial content, but seeing the parts of buildings you seem to have on there, I may give it a go, as these I thought would also be editorial
