ADA Volunteers Beach Cleanup

As many of you are aware, pollution from human activities is changing the Earth’s climate. Pollution has drastic affects on the water we drink and the air we breathe. Yesterday, our University along with our ADA Volunteers Movement decided to be a part of the solution in an unselfish effort to clean up our Mardakan Beach. The mission was to clean the trash that covers our beach, an effort called “Temiz Olkem”.

After the beach was cleaned up, we visited a plastic recycling plant, AzEkol, with all the cleaned up trash for recycling so we can reduce and reuse human waste. Everyone can participate even in their own time. Try to recycle your own waste and inform friends to try their best to keep our environment clean. It is only fair to treat our planet with care!
