Luis Ortiz-Catedral. Chapter 2. From New Zealand to Galapagos

In this second part of our interview, Luis explains how he finished his PhD and started a new position as team leader in Galapagos NP for an NGO, which involved new challenges. He had to manage a team of 15 people with lotsof reports to write and almost no funds. He offers advice on how to manage donor relations and also describes how he was able to establish effective collaboration with the National Park team, even though his more scientifically minded bosses were less able to do so.
