The place is shaping up. Love that color for the building. Keep the videos coming

You guys have the opportunity of a lifetime. Imagine, improving the quality of the videos, getting some consistency of editing and uploading videos more often. It might be difficult having to work "and" film, because Derek probably doesn't pay you to make videos, but dammit man. You could grow this channel to make some money and get a following to go beyond the VGG build. Plus, you are working for an awesome "business model" as far as jumping through the YouTube hoops.
Thanks for the update, us VGG'ers, enjoy the progress.

You guys have been working hard, it's starting to shape up nicely. That area with the subway tiles is screaming for some neon signs, have Derek put his ear in that direction bet he hears it. What the hell, make it look like the pickers outfitted the place! So many possibilities...

Nice to see life brought back to an old building again! I recently acquired an old grocery store building that was built in 64 that we are doing the same on. Hopefully, one day, it will be on youtube also!

Painter here: A guy is much better off using a five gallon bucket while rolling. You want to get as much paint on the wall as possible. Quickly/briskly roll the roller down the walls of the bucket and the top of the paint a few times, turn the roller sideways once or twice, and start rolling the wall. I slap on approximately ten feet of wall with heavy paint, then go back and roll it out evenly, using slight pressure on the edge of the roller, frame side, to create a line that smooths out as I go. You just can't get enough paint on your roller using those paint trays... I'd also be using the heaviest nap there is on brick.

Love the updates guys...

I'm in the Nashville area... came by a couple Saturdays ago. Building is looking nice! Wish I could offer to help, but that Saturday was the only one I had off since December. If work slows down and I start getting Saturdays off, I'd be willing to donate some time if needed. I'm certainly planning on being there for the get together in August if that does happen.
