Trump doctors gives update on his health after coronavirus diagnosis

President Trump's physician, Dr. Sean P. Conley, gives an update on the president's health. Conley is speaking from Walter Reed, where Mr. Trump is expected to stay for a few days following his COVID-19 diagnosis. Mr. Trump and first lady Melania Trump tested positive for COVID-19 late Thursday. Melania Trump announced on Twitter Friday she was experiencing "mild symptoms" and thanked well-wishers.

According to what this doctor said, Trump was "diagnosed" on Wednesday and still went to meet with donors. Sounds like he got a positive test result but was asymptomatic so there was a chance it was a false positive. They probably said they'd need another test in 24 hours to verify the first result. Instead of being cautious, Trump decided to risk it (and everyone else's health) by going on with his regular schedule. As the second test came in, they still didn't publicly announce he was positive until the third test (PCR) came back Thursday night. Thanks to Trump's irresponsibility and not following basic CDC guidelines, there's an outbreak in our government.

I had Covid earlier this year. The first three days were a dream compared to what followed. He has no idea what he's in for. Then again, I didn't have 20 doctors doing to my every whim and giving me state of the art treatment. As they said, unless these treatments work like a miracle he's going to get much worse. It was 14 days before I began to think I'd live.
Too bad everyone can't have such good care. Universal care?
