Yo, thanks for reviewing one of the most popular instant noodles in the Philippines! Just a little trivia, this helped many Filipino college students, especially those who are doing research papers overnight hehehe!

If your main goal is spiciness, Filipino cuisine is not your go-to choice. Filipino foods isnt normally spicy. Our most known spicy foods are Bicol Express and Sisig.

Not a lot of us can tolerate too much spiciness, so in normal food stall setting, Bicol Express and Sisig aren't that spicy. Unless u make ur own and add a bit more Chili peppers.

As a spicy lover. I would often opt for Buldak and other Korean spicy noodles to satisfy my taste.
I would even add more chillies to Sisig (I would grab my friend's chili to add extra on mine LMAO) or have a pure chili on my plate and chomp on it along with my ulam. 🫠

"it looks so plain but it smells flavorful" never Judge a book by it's cover.

Tips for cooking it you should strain the pancit from the water first and add the flavour packets to the plate you will put it in and mix it in the plate

If the flavor is lacking in your opinion then I recommend trying sweet & spicy, and kalamansi/Chilimansi which is the orange and green one

Also, make sure to drain the noodles well before adding the flavour packets. And add a little oil after! Extra is if u can stir fry it with some veggis 🔥🔥

Hi GoldenGully!
From how I pronounce it its: Pancit = (“Pan” “Sit”) Canton = ( “Can” Ton” [like wonton I suppose when pronouncing the “ton”])

I advise to melt butter, put in some noodle water and mix the seasoning there and then pour it on the noodles, i'tll enhance the flavor

A 7.9/10? Haha, that’s gotta be a W for Filipinos. I’m a Filipino-American and I appreciate your honesty with this! Pancit Canton is a classic.😁🍜🇵🇭x🇺🇸

i would recommend draining the noodles some more. the more dry it is, the better. the package has oil&sauce that you can use to dilate the powder packets, hope this helps!

Day 25: (Additional info) Please make a HSP (Halal Snack pack) or AB. It is made by an Australian muslim. It is made with either thick or thin cut fries, with small peices of gyro, döner or shawarma kebab, could be beef, chicken or lamb, sometimes a combination of all on top of the chips, with yoghurt garlic sauce added ontop of the meat. And then finished off with a drizzle of ketchup (i know you hate it), bbq sauce or chilli sauce. You can have all three if you want, or 2. This is only found in Australia, it is usally a late night snack, but it is ofc halal. And it is best eaten with a fork. (I really wanna give up at day 30)

_"It's like the mix of Indomie and Cup Noodles."_

Funnily enough, Lucky Me also have their own noodles that consisted with chicken and beef flavor. Pancit Canton always stuck up with me, even to this day.

It suppose to be cooked first then drain the water from the pan then put it in a separate bowl or plate then put the ingredients to keep the color

Btw in the Philippines we don’t usually use a lot of spice so it seems spicy but really it’s not

(I’m Filipino I have experience)
