This is great :) Have you got model answers for the S1 paper and for the AQA AS Physics and OCR Chemistry papers? The s1 exam was quite hard and I'd like to see how i did

q.7 part (i) can be simplified further by taking out the common factor: a(4a^2-1), and then breaking the bracket as a difference of two squares. thus it gives: a*(2a-1)*(2a+1)

I know i was wrong but why couldn't i put Q2 as a right angled triangle. It doesn't specify why i can't. Obvs i was wrong as i only got 40 as the ans for the angle.

Used k for a, how many marks would i lose for the geometric question ?

I worked out question 9 by finding the equation of the line, then doing that equation minus the equation of the curve and then differentiating it. I then minused this from the -5000/200 ish. Would this work as I can't remember if I got 32?

youve missed out one of the question what is the marks for the remainder theorem

For Q6a you can simplify further a(2a-1)(2a+1)

For question 6a i didnt put +- 4a^3-a, just +4a^3-a, how many marks would i lose?

People are saying the aqa paper was hard, shame I can't see that one.
